The Membership Ministry Coordinator helps oversee the process of welcoming and assisting individuals who are interested in becoming members of the church.

The Membership Ministry Coordinator will interview prospective members together with the Membership Ministry Staff. Each person should be able to clearly share how they became a Christian. Everyone is welcome to attend our church; however, we need to avoid accepting as members those who are not genuine Christians.

The Membership Ministry Coordinator helps answer questions about the church, its ministries, beliefs, and Statement of Faith. The Coordinator also helps prospective members understand that we are all continuing to learn and grow in our understanding of God's Word.

The Membership Ministry Coordinator explains that, while questions and differences in understanding are welcome and can be discussed, members should not teach doctrines that are contrary to the church's Statement of Faith.

Questions regarding particular beliefs or areas of doctrine may be discussed with the elders or with other individuals within the church who are qualified to provide biblical instruction and guidance.

The Membership Ministry Coordinator works with Membership Ministry Staff and volunteers to help ensure that prospective members are welcomed, informed, and properly assisted throughout the membership process.

The Membership Ministry Coordinator serves under the authority of the elders and must be a member of the congregation.
