Youth Ministry
Serve the LORD with gladness;
come into His presence with joyful songs. Psalm 100:2
Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, so that the evil days do not come, nor the years draw near, when you shall say, I have no pleasure in them." Ecclesiastes 12:1
The writer(King Solomon) ,inspired by God, records how important it is to know the Lord as a young person, he is writing here at the end of his life. We should spend time with God everyday.
Stay pure until find the right one. Wait until marriage.
"I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem; why do you awaken; yea, why do you awaken my Love until it pleases?" Song of Songs 8:4
Avoid all appearance of evil.
"For your obedience reached to all; therefore, I rejoice over you. But I desire you to be truly wise as to good, but simple toward evil." Romans 16:19
Become an example.
"Let no one despise your youth, but become an example of the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
Live in the fruit of the spirit.
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control. Against such things there is not a law." Gelatinous 5:22-23
"Listen to your father, this one fathered you, and do not despise your mother when she is old." Proverbs 23:22
"1 Do not sharply rebuke an elder, but exhort as a father; and younger ones as brothers, older women as mothers, younger ones as sisters, in all purity."1 Timothy 5:1-2
